Don Wieland
Bass GuitarWith over 40 years of experience holding down the low end, I’ve built a lifelong passion for groove, tone, and musical connection. My journey as a bassist began in my youth and has evolved through decades of live performance, studio work, and collaboration across musical genres.
I’ve had the privilege of performing with a range of bands including Vintage Vinyl, PointeMade, In-Step, Vis-A-Vis, and Disciple—each offering a unique musical landscape from driving classic rock anthems to the nuanced textures of contemporary worship. These experiences have shaped my style into one that is both supportive and expressive, always serving the song while locking in with the rhythm section.
Beyond the stage, I’ve recorded in studios with various artists, adapting quickly to different musical styles and session demands. Whether it’s laying down a solid groove, improvising on the fly, or dialing in the perfect tone, I bring a deep commitment to musical excellence and professionalism.
I continue to find joy in every note, whether in a packed venue or a quiet studio, always aiming to elevate the music and connect with audiences through rhythm and feel.

DrumsI've had drumsticks in my hands since the age of five, and they've rarely left them since. My early years were steeped in musical training—marching band, orchestra, concert band, percussion ensemble, big band, and jazz trios all shaped my versatility and foundation as a drummer.
Over the years, I've performed with a wide range of bands spanning multiple genres, from high-energy cover groups to tribute acts and original artists. I held a long-standing position in a house band for six years—until the venue decided a DJ was more cost-effective.
Notable projects include Heart tribute "Love Alive," Led Zeppelin tribute "ZEPP HEADS," and the "Rick Miller Band," whose original music can be found on Facebook. During a brief move to Ohio, it wasn’t long before I was back behind the kit, joining the "Nathen Jenkins Band"—another artist you can check out on Facebook.
Whether it's classic rock, jazz, funk, or original material, I bring energy, precision, and passion to every performance.
